It was a nice place and a nice meal. I came on a Saturday night around 9pm. The place was really relaxed but not nessesarily empty. The food came out quickly and tasted wonderful. I had Pad Thai with a side of steamed rice. The pad Thai was sweet, though I can imagine someone might want spicier. Pork Padthai was really good, flavorful and nicely cooked. The host and waiter were awesome too! Very polite and courteous. I enjoyed the place and hope to come back to try the rest of the menu.

We dined in there for a party of three and the food was outstanding. The portion is very generous as you can see in the pictures and the taste is great for all dishes we ordered. Similan Thai restaurant may not be the most authentic Thai restaurant, but it has a lot to offer! I can say it is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area

This place is absolutely freaking fantastic! Excellent food, excellent service and the atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. I ordered the Pan See Ew with chicken and my husband had the Spicy Fried Rice with pork. Very tasty and satisfied with both meals. It was also my first time having a Thai Tea and that was excellent too! We will definitely go back next time we are visiting!

Great Thai restaurant in Solana Beach. Most of their dishes can be vegetarian or vegan and tastes fantastic. They even have soup with no fish broth. We love it spicy and happy to say they can meet that bar. Food has a great balance of flavors. Friendly staff.

Stopped by for dinner today, the food was great, and the flavors were on point. Price is similar to other Thai food eateries. They use quality ingredients, and it shows.

We seriously lucked out with finding this Thai gem on the google! The is one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to - authentic dishes, reasonable priced, big portions, wonderful service, and beautiful decor. My favorite dishes were the crab pad thai and the tom kha soup! I’m excited to return and try their other dishes! Side note: parking lot is super small but there’s plenty of street parking across the street. The restaurant also takes reservations!

An expensive experience. The money bag appetizer was avg for a $12 appetizer. I wouldn’t get that again. The ice tea was $4.50! I ordered spicy panang curry and got mild curry. The spice tray helped. The unseasoned meat was tender, the sauce was creamy and savory. The service was good, the place was empty when I sat down.

Good food & services. Tom Kha soup ($12.95) was good & flavorful, but a bit too salty for me. Pineapple fried rice ($21.95) was excellent with huge serving and plenty of big shrimps & chicken. Pad See Eu ($17.95) was good & flavorful with plenty of shrimps, but I would like more eggs and less sweet. Overall, a good experience.
